Woman ‘shot at’ in Poole police gives reason after CCTV appeal
A MAN has come forward after a woman reported being ‘shot at’ in Poole.
A thirtysomething woman reported feeling sick to her stomach while strolling close to Orchard Plaza.
The woman stated that she had been hit by a projectile of some sort, most likely a BB gun or air weapon pellet.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, September 21, between 10 and 10.30 p.m., caused her tummy to bruise.
The victim noticed that a man was staring at her and laughing right after the occurrence.
She went to challenge him and the man was reportedly abusive towards her, before making off from the scene.
Following a CCTV appeal, a man aged in his 20s has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
