Tragic news as authorities declare a road closure in Yeovil after numerous fatal car incidents.

Following a crash, the A30 near Yeovil reopens.

After a car struck two signposts, a 75-year-old person lost their life.

Just before 15:15 GMT on Friday, police were alerted to a complaint of a black Jeep crash on Hendford Hill in Yeovil.

After receiving care from paramedics on the scene near the Quicksilver roundabout, the guy was transported to a hospital, where he passed away.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is being urged to come forward by the police.

At the moment, Somerset’s A30 is closed in both directions.

This afternoon (Friday, October), the A30 through Somerset was closed in both directions. Due to reports of a collision, the A30 West Coker Road near Yeovil was closed in both directions.

Roads and a portal for tracking traffic At 1:58 p.m., Inrix initially reported the incident. It read: “A30 West Coker Road in both directions closed, delays due to accident from Bunford Hollow Roundabout to Balidon Place.”

After an accident in Crewkerne, two persons were brought to the hospital.

On October friday 11, after midnight, a black Peugeot Expert van and a grey BMW 166i collided on the A30, Yeovil Road.

According to police, one of the participants is still in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Dashcam footage and witnesses are now being sought by the force.

Following a two-vehicle traffic collision, we are requesting dashcam footage and witnesses, according to a representative for Avon and Somerset Police.

On Friday 11 October, between 12.20 and 12.40 a.m., officers were called to the A30 Yeovil Road in Crewkerne after a black Peugeot Expert van and a grey BMW 166i collided.

“One of the two individuals who were brought to the hospital is still there due to injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening or life-altering.”
