Driver fled away after Kilmarnock horror crash

Police have identified the woman who perished in a horrific crash one week prior to Christmas.
On Monday, October 12, during rush hour, Kayla Wilson lost her life in the deadly collision on the B7038 near Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
Police have identified Kayla Wilson as the 24-year-old who passed away close to Kilmarnock.Police Scotland is credited.
At the scene of the crash on Ayr Road, the 24-year-old was declared deceased.
An Audi Q2 and a Vauxhall Corsa were involved.
Around 9.35 am, emergency personnel hurried to the busy road after the alarm was sounded.
The 64-year-old female passenger and the 67-year-old female driver of the second vehicle were transported to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for medical attention.

After two vehicles collided on the A77 near Kilmarnock, the driver was fined.
Following a two-vehicle collision on the A77 close to Kilmarnock this morning (Saturday 12), a driver has been fined.
Just after 8 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the northbound carriageway, and ambulance teams examined the passengers in both cars.
After the incident, one driver received a fixed penalty ticket.
A representative for Police Scotland stated: “On Saturday October 12 at around 8:15 a.m., we received a call of a two-vehicle collision on the A77 northbound close to New Farm Loch, Kilmarnock.
“The Scottish Ambulance Service checked over the occupants of both vehicles after emergency services arrived.”
“A man driver has been given a Fixed Penalty Ticket.”
