Tragedy as 19 dies after horrific multi vehicle collision in New Jersey market road
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – One person was killed and five others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Hunterdon County Thursday morning.
On Oct. 31st, at around 7:30 a.m., police responded to the scene of a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hogback Road, Route 617 and Lower Lansdown Road in Franklin Township, according to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s office.
One passenger succumbed to their injuries at the scene, three passengers sustained serious injuries and were taken to area hospitals, and two drivers were treated at the scene and released, officials said.
Members of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, Franklin Township Police Department, and Quakertown NJ Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, authorities said.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Franklin Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.
