Super League boss hints at signing Hull FC centre Liam Sutcliffe and Hull KR prop George King
Head coach Luke Robinson of the HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS has made insinuations that Hull FC centre Liam Sutcliffe and Hull KR forward George King will be present at John Smith’s Stadium in 2025.
Sutcliffe and King have both been announced as departing from their clubs in recent weeks, and there is growing talk that they may be moving to Huddersfield.
Additionally, Robinson made a suggestion that both players might be wearing the claret and gold next season during his post-game press conference after the Giants destroyed the Castleford Tigers 34-10 last night.
If we do acquire them, both, fingers crossed, should be good players for us, Robinson said in jest.
“Not only do the players we have coming in next year add quality, but they are also good people.”
“We need to make sure we bring in that experience because a lot of the lads leaving have a lot of experience.”
With the conclusion of the 2024 Super League season, players like Chris Hill, Sebastian Ikahihifo, and Adam Milner will be leaving the Giants.
