Six drivers have  been killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the Harrogate Highway late Tuesday night.

A North Yorkshire road was closed overnight as police attended a “serious” collision.

The B6451 near Harrogate was shut to traffic on Tuesday last night, North Yorkshire Police said.

The closure was put in place between Norwood and the A59 close to the Penny Pot Lane junction.
