Recent Celtics shooter added to Jazz following Lauri Markkanen’s contract

The Jazz recently signed free agent Svi Mykhailiuk to a four-year, $15 million contract. Last season, Mykhailiuk was a member of the Boston Celtics, participating in 41 games for the NBA title team.

For the Celtics the previous season, Mykhailiuk averaged 4.0 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.9 assists. In the Celtics’ penultimate game of the regular season, he scored 26 points, tying his career high, on 10-of-13 shooting from the field and 6-of-8 from three. He added five rebounds and five assists as well.

Being a 40% field goal shooter and a 36% three-point shooter might be beneficial to many teams in the league as perimeter shooting has become essential.
