As the force's murder probe gathers pace, West Midlands Police confirmed this morning that they had arrested three teenagers, one aged 18 and two 17-year-olds, following the fatal shooting. A man, 50, told our reporter that incidents like this don't happen in the area. He said: "I know what happened yesterday but I don't know why. I have lived here for a very long time. It's quiet here, this situation is the first time." Some semblance of normality has returned, as our reporter Jamie Brassington told us: "It’s a quiet neighbourhood, people are going about their daily business. Some motorists are stopping to observe the scene."
