Murder investigation police arrested four men after death of 23 years old stabb

A 23-year-old man died of reported stab wounds on Thursday

This evening (Friday), four males are being held in connection with a murder investigation by Kent Police. It follows the reported stabbing death of a 23-year-old male on Thursday, October 10.

At 11:31 p.m., police were called to a disturbance on Canterbury High Street. When a male, age 23, was discovered with injuries consistent with stabbing wounds, emergency personnel were called.

 

At the scene, he was declared deceased. As part of the inquiry, four guys in their 20s were detained and are still being held.

As part of the ongoing inquiry, searches have been conducted at premises near Pine Tree Avenue in Canterbury and on Herne Bay High Street.

”We recognise that this incident and its location would have created anxiety in the community, and I would like to reassure people that we have a big team of officers and detectives working to discover the exact facts,” stated Chief Inspector Paul Stoner, the commander of Canterbury District. I express my gratitude to locals and companies for their cooperation and understanding as we carry out more investigation work in the city centre.

“Wherever possible, we are trying to lessen the impact on local businesses while making sure that we gather the best evidence for our investigation.”
