Emergency services were called on Bradford district this afternoon after three-vehicle crash and one spun out of control and hit a lamp-post before coming to rest in a garden.

POLICE have issued an update on three men arrested in connection with a hit-and-run on Upper Ashley Lane.

A Woman and her three children died and a boy who was a pedestrian was left fighting for his life following the collision on on Bradford district this afternoon.

Fire engines and police officers are currently attending a collision in the Fox Corner area of Shipley, with the location for the incident given as Upper Ashley Lane.

Two 33-year-old men were initially arrested in connection with the incident.

One man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision and the other man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A third man, a 24-year-old, was arrested later on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

All three have now been released on police bail.

This morning, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Three men have been bailed pending further enquiries.”
