KKTV, Greeley, Colorado – After a fatal shooting overnight in Greeley, the Greeley Police Department reported that they had taken a guy into custody.
When authorities arrived at a residence in the 2700 block of C St. on Thursday at around 2:07 a.m., they discovered a man who had been shot multiple times. They asked for assistance from medical units and started life-saving procedures on the adult male victim at the residence.
Major Crimes Evidence Technicians, Persons Unit Detectives, and Greeley Police Gang Unit Detectives all showed up to assist.
After being brought to a hospital, the victim succumbed to his wounds and died.
Authorities reported that on Friday afternoon, investigators located and apprehended 21-year-old Haven Ramirez, the suspect.
He was charged with two charges of felony threats and first-degree murder, according to police, and was taken into the Weld County Jail.
