Long delays on M6 following earlier scary incident
On the M6 near Lancaster, traffic has been reopened after an earlier incident that was police-led.
Between the Lancaster Junction 34 and the Junction 33, all traffic was stopped.
According to National Highways, there were delays in both directions approaching the event of about thirty minutes.
Although traffic on the affected stretch of the road has now been released, delays of up to 60 minutes have been observed.
It occurs as there are lengthy lines for traffic at Junction 28 in Leyland as a result of a significant collision that happened on Friday afternoon.
Some lanes on both sides of the carriageway remained blocked while emergency personnel continued to work on repairing the center barrier.
There were seven injuries from the collision, which included a car, a campervan, and a truck.
