Kilmarnock striker insists ‘sky is the limit’ for teenage ace
Bruce Anderson insists ‘the sky is the limit’ for fellow Killie strike partner to shine – and insists the teenage ace could easily be starting games for the top flight side.
The 19-year-old has had to bide his time this term with skipper Kyle Vassell and Marley Watkins often being the preferred duo while Anderson and Innes Cameron are also in the mix.
But the Scotland under-19 ace has impressed in limited action – playing just 107 minutes in the league – including netting a late leveller against Dundee last month.
He also won the injury-time penalty that Anderson himself converted in a 1-1 draw at Tannadice at the weekend.
“He just looks so confident any time he comes onto the park. He’s brilliant in training. I was really impressed as soon as I came to the club.
“It’s important that he keeps having an impact when he does get minutes, which he seems to manage in every game he plays. The sky is the limit for him.”
