Mansfield Town

Former Charlton Athletic star is confident about his team having done their homework on the Addicks.

Charlton, led by Nathan Jones, is now ranked 12th in League One after failing to live up to their expectations this season.

Their next opponents are Mansfield Town, who are currently in tenth place in the league, and they have lost more games than they have won this season.

Playing nearly 50 games for the Addicks, Stags star Oshilaja emphasized that Charlton now plays a lot more direct, something he believes was not the case during his tenure with the team from 2019 to 2021.

However, the 31-year-old central defender is certain that his team knows where to inflict pain on the Addicks on Saturday.

Regarding the Charlton game, Oshilaja told the Stags reporters, “I think it is going to be a very physical one.”

“They play very differently now than they did when I was there.

Since they are much more straightforward, I anticipate a highly physical game.

Since they are at home and have a sizable fan base, it goes without saying that they will want to bring the game to us. It is also a fantastic club.

“I believe that Mansfield and Charlton are playing in the same league, League One, which is a huge plus.

“We’ll be focusing on that all week long, and I have no doubt that we can accomplish it on Saturday.”

In League One, Nigel Clough’s team has so far shocked everyone by holding Birmingham City to a draw at the One Call Stadium.

However, we know we can harm them in certain ways as well, so we will go there with confidence.
