Ex-Barnsley midfielder have been linked with the Millwall FC vacancy
A new manager is required for the Championship team as Neil Harris has formally resigned as head coach of the Lions.
Mark Robins, the former manager of Barnsley and Huddersfield Town, is among the many names that have been connected to the position.
The Mirror claims that the Millwall leadership holds former Leeds coach Skubala in high regard.
Skubala was the manager of Leeds’ under-21 team before assuming first team responsibilities following Jesse Marsch’s firing.
He then took up a role as a first-team coach to work alongside Javi Gracia, who had a short-lived Elland Road tenure.
Skubala left Leeds later on in the year, taking charge of League One outfit Lincoln City in October 2023.
His time with the Imps has only enhanced his reputation and it appears Millwall have taken notice of his talents.
Since his dismissal as Stoke City’s manager in December 2023, Neil, on the other hand, has been unemployed. Throughout his time on the market, he has been linked to multiple openings and has extensive experience operating at the Championship level.
According to the article, Millwall is reportedly intending to have several meetings with potential prospects, including Neil.
The Lions also reportedly respect Stockport County manager Dave Challinor.
