Dundee fans mock Giovanni as club blanks director and convicted fraudster’s approach

Di Stefano was invited on to the dens Park board back in 2003 at the height of their spending

Giovanni Di Stefano, a madcap attorney, says he is in discussions about going back to Dundee.

Di Stefano, a long-time associate of Saddam Hussein who also acted as an agent for terrorists and warlords including Osama Bin Laden, Arkan, Slobodan Milosevic, and Robert Mugabe, claims to have discussed a potential return to Dens Park with Dark Blues owner Tim Keyes. When he first joined the Dundee board in 2003, the team was heavily investing in foreign players like Claudio Caniggia and Fabrizio Ravanelli, who were both managed by the Bonetti brothers.

This ultimately resulted in administration since the club was seriously in danger of going out of business. Yet after placing in the top six of the Premiership the previous season, they are now well-established in the top division under Tony Docherty. Furthermore, it appears that Di Stefano want to re-join the party, saying in a video message that more will be revealed following his discussions with US chief Keyes.

He said in a video message: “This is Giovanni de Stefano and it is now the 9th October 20124. “Just a very quick update on Dundee FC, I have been in contact with Tim Keyes and there will be other developments on this matter, hopefully sooner rather than later.”

What part Di Stefano believes he is suited for is unknown. Furthermore, it’s improbable that supporters would be happy with the contentious law enforcement official getting engaged once more.
