Driver, 20, dies in Romney Marsh crash police witness appeal
A blue Daihatsu Terios SX was travelling in the area when it came to a stop in a ditch
A man, 20, lost his life in an accident close to Snargate. Witnesses to the fatal incident in the Romney Marsh region are currently being sought by Kent Police.
Today, 13 August, around 1.05 am, police were summoned to the area close to Ham Mill Lane. When it stopped in a ditch at the side of the road, a blue Daihatsu Terios SX was driving through the area.
Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the driver was confirmed deceased. Police say next of kin have been made aware.
According to a spokesman for Kent Police: “Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are conducting investigations and encouraging witnesses and anyone possessing pertinent dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch with them.” Use reference SM/HG/085/23 when contacting the SCIU appeals line at 01622 798538 if you have any information that will help with the investigation.
