A woman in her 30s and a man in his 80s have died in a suspected hit-and-run in which a child was also seriously injured.

On Wednesday, a black Alfa Romeo struck five pedestrians, all members of the same family. The two deceased, according to the Israeli government, were Israelis.
At 21:35 BST, police were summoned to a multi-story parking lot on Leopold Street in Ramsgate.
The girl, who was in elementary school, was sent to a hospital in London.
Minor injuries were also sustained by a youngster of primary school age and a man in his 40s.
A Ramsgate resident, 30, has been placed under arrest on suspicion of driving recklessly and fleeing the scene of an accident, which resulted in death.
He’s currently being treated for minor injuries at the hospital as well.

Witnesses, nearby companies with CCTV evidence, and drivers with pertinent dashcam footage are all being sought after by Kent Police.
Arriving on the scene shortly after the tragedy, restaurateur Marc-Pierre Campos remarked, “It’s probably the worst thing I’ve ever seen.”While I was still on the phone with the emergency services, paramedics arrived. They were incredible.”
Shortly after the collision, Becky Wing drove by the area and spotted the automobile “part way up the pavement.”
She stated: “There was a fireperson looking under the car.”We were aware that it was a horrible incident.”

Raushan Ara, the mayor of Ramsgate, gave the family tribute.
She continued: “My thoughts are with the friends and family of those who lost their lives and those injured in the tragic incident last night.”I am expressing the deepest sympathies of the Ramsgate community to the family that has lost a mother and grandfather.
“This is an extremely sad and tragic accident which has shocked the local community.”

The victims’ names were unknown, according to Ben Moore, the deputy spokesman for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He continued: “In the accident, a father and daughter, residents of Rosh Pina, were killed, and the daughter’s partner and their two children were injured and taken to local hospitals.”
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Department for Israelis Abroad has been in continuous communication with the family in Israel and is supporting them during this trying time,” he continued.

“At the same time, the Israeli Consul in London is in contact with the victims’ family members within the UK and is helping them as much as possible.”
At the crash site on Thursday night, there was a one-minute silence. There were almost sixty persons there for the candlelight vigil.
