Boy, 16, killed and ‘pregnant’ woman injured after moped smashes into car

After crashing into a car while attempting to pass an Audi on his scooter, an adolescent has died.

In Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, Demari Thomas slammed into a Ford Fiesta. Witnesses to the collision rushed over to try to save his life.

Two ladies, one of whom is thought to be pregnant, who were driving the two automobiles involved were left with minor injuries.

When paramedics finally arrived, Demari, 16, had already gone into cardiac arrest at about 8 o’clock and was pronounced dead.

“My husband helped a lady out of one of the cars,” a witness stated. She was shook up badly.

Doctors who were not on duty attended to the man until paramedics showed up. It’s all really depressing. So sorrowful.

There were numerous police cars, ambulances, and fire engines, said a another bystander. A bike was on the road, and steam was flowing from one of the cars.

I saw a number of emergency personnel encircling a person who was lying on the ground in the road. Over our seven years here, there have been numerous mishaps.

According to an ambulance spokeswoman, when emergency personnel got there, they discovered that a number of medics who weren’t on duty had stopped to help and were giving the man who was experiencing cardiac arrest CPR.

The individual was regrettably confirmed dead on the spot a short while later, despite everyone’s best efforts. “Ambulance crews quickly took over treatment to administer advanced life support,” the statement reads.

Computer “Our thoughts are with Demari’s family, who are being supported by specialist officers at this difficult time,” Kate Hall stated in reference to the tragic loss of an adolescent.

As we continue to investigate, we have conducted house-to-house inquiries and spoken with witnesses to learn the complete circumstances surrounding the crash.

“We would like to hear from any witnesses or drivers who have footage of the incident or the minutes before it,” the statement reads. “It happened on a busy road.”
