Allan Dell has exited Glasgow with immediate effect
After being freed from his contract “to pursue new career opportunities,” Allan Dell, an experienced loosehead, has left Glasgow with immediate effect.
After arriving from London Irish in 2022, the 32-year-old South African only made 12 appearances in two and a half years at Scotstoun.
“I’d like to thank the club for the last couple of seasons, and I have nothing but best wishes for everyone at Scotstoun,” Dell, who earned 34 Scotland caps between 2016 and 2022, said on the Warriors website.
In the future, I hope to catch up with the Warrior nation over a beer or two, and I hope to be back in the stands with the fans soon.
After Sunday’s first leg at Hampden, Glasgow will defend a 33-14 lead over Edinburgh at Murrayfield this Saturday in an attempt to win the 1872 Cup for the third consecutive year.
