49ers Enterprises must reach deep into the pockets to bring Keelan Adams to Leeds United?

Daniel Farke wants to strengthen his defense before the second half of the season, therefore the Whites are keeping an eye on the Falkirk right-back ahead of the January transfer window.

John McGlynn, the manager of Falkirk, responded directly to the rumors circulating around the 23-year-old, saying the Scottish Championship team is not financially obligated to approve a mid-season move.

The 49ers must support Farke and make a bid for Adams that Falkirk cannot reject in order to strive for promotion, since a return to the Premier League is still in the cards.

The Whites sit three points adrift of Championship leaders Sheffield United with favourable fixtures heading into the New Year.

However, Farke is getting ready to assemble his team at Elland Road in order to prevent a repeat of the team’s loss to Southampton in the play-off final last season.

A mid-season raid for Aston Villa forward Emi Buendia is still unlikely at this point [Beren Cross], but a move for Manchester City youngster James McAtee is on the cards, and the Whites are ready to test the waters in January. The German wants more firepower even though they have perhaps the best array of attacking options in the second division.

However, the defense must come first. Junior Firpo and Sam Byram are nearing the end of their Elland Road contracts, and it is unlikely that the latter will receive a new contract offer because of his injury history.

Therefore, all of the focus should be on Scotland and doing all in our power to get Adams to leave Falkirk, even though signing a forward player would pique the interest of the Leeds supporters.

Leeds have already been burned by the play-off lottery in the Championship, and securing one of the brightest prospects in Scotland could take the West Yorkshire outfit one step closer to automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Leeds has the money to make sure the Scottish Championship team can’t refuse, even if Falkirk doesn’t have to sell.
