Leeds and Swansea among clubs looking at Falkirk ace amid stunning form

John McGlynn led his side to a remarkable unbeaten season as they were crowned League One’s invincible champions for 2023/24.

Coming back up to the Championship for this campaign, they were hotly fancied to challenge up at the top end of the table.

Few would have expected them to carry that unbeaten sequence on for the first five league games of this season, along with knocking Hearts out of the League Cup.

Or to be sitting eight points clear at the top of the second tier at the stage, either.

One of the many standouts for Falkirk this season has been Keelan Adams.

The right-back has had a meteoric rise. Just last season, he was playing in the Lowland League for Cumbernauld Colts after signing for them from Glasgow Uni.

The Bairns moved to snap him up in January but loaned him back to the non-league outfit for the rest of the campaign.

He joined up with his new teammates in the summer and wasted no time in finding his feet and going straight into the starting XI.

Adams has been a key man for Falkirk during their march to the top of the Championship and now has admirers from further afield.

Leeds and Swansea in the English Championship, along with Rangers, are three clubs who have been scouting the 23-year-old, according to Rangers News.

Adams, who has three goals and five assists this season, is contracted to the Bairns until 2026.

Any side which has had the run Falkirk had should be wary of interest in their stars.

Callumn Morrison would have been a previous candidate as he shone in League One, with teams in England taking a look.

But he hasn’t played much this season due to illness struggles.

The likes of Calvin Miller and Ethan Ross are scoring and creating so could be on the radar of clubs, while Dylan Tait has the ability to play in the top flight having previously been on Hibs‘ books.
