Police launches investigation after man in 60s found dead at Farworth home

A police investigation is underway following the sudden death of a man in Hednesford.

At approximately 8.20 a.m. on Thursday, West Midlands Ambulance Service personnel were responding to a sudden death when Staffordshire Police officers were summoned to a residence on Stafford Lane.

A man in his 60s was tragically declared dead at the spot.

 

To conduct a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death, officers erected a cordon at the address.

After being arrested in relation to the incident, a 28-year-old Cannock man was later freed on conditional police bail.

A representative for Staffordshire Police stated: “We want to emphasise that this investigation is still in its early phases and that we are actively conducting enquiries to learn more about what transpired.
