Five people were killed in a crash involving two cars on the M6 in Cumbria, including a Glasgow mother, according to reports.

It is believed that on Tuesday afternoon, Jade McEnroe, 33, was driving a Toyota when it collided head-on with another car on the motorway’s northbound section close to Tebay services.

Two sons, ages 15 and 7, who were riding in the same car as the 42-year-old male, identified in reports as Jaroslaw Rossa, were also killed in the collision.

Another 40-year-old Cambridgeshire man was also pronounced dead at the scene of the collision after police claimed he had been seen driving a Skoda in the wrong direction along the northbound lane.

A third youngster, who was seven years old, was taken to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary after suffering severe injuries.

The Times stated on Thursday that the 33-year-old lady involved in the collision has been identified locally as Ms. McEnroe, despite the fact that authorities have not yet identified everyone involved.

Social media tributes characterized her as “a cute girl” and “a great mother” who was “always kind with a beautiful smile.”

Additionally, Wagamama CEO Thomas Heier verified. Rossa Mr was an employee and was killed in the incident, according to a report from the BBC on Thursday.

According to reports, Mr. Heier claimed that Mr. Rossa’s coworkers at the Silverburn shopping center had called him “a cherished chef and friend” who had developed “unforgettable relationships” with both coworkers and patrons.

“Jaroslaw’s warmth, dedication, and kindness are qualities that will remain with the team long after his passing,” he continued.

Motorway reopens after serious crash

A “serious” crash led to the closure of a key motorway, according to National Highways.

After a car and motorcycle collided, the M4 was closed westbound between Maidenhead’s junction 8/9 and Reading’s J10.

There was a detour in place, and there were police, ambulance, and air ambulance personnel on the site.

The road has since reopened, according to Thames Valley Police.
