Man died two taken to Hospital after multi-vehicle crash through Luton today
The collision happened at around 7.30am this morning (October 11) between Junction 12 (Luton) and Junction 13 (Milton Keynes).
Two northbound lanes were closed.
“The vehicles involved in the earlier collision have now been recovered from the scene,” said National Highways East. All lanes have been restored after traffic officers cleaned the debris.
“There are residual delays of up to 75 minutes on the approach.”
“We were called just after 7.30am to a road traffic collision on the northbound M1 between junctions 12 and 13,” stated a spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service.
“An ambulance officer car and two ambulances were dispatched to the scene. For additional evaluation and care, an adult man was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
