24-year-old could be loaned out by Swindon Town

Nnamdi Ofoborh might be available for loan out, according to Swindon Town manager Mark Kennedy.

Former Lincoln City manager Kennedy provided the following update on his situation, which was reported by the Swindon Advertiser: “Nnamdi is a valued member of the squad, but if Nnamdi felt that going somewhere else was the best way to get minutes, then we would facilitate and support him in that.” We would welcome Nnamdi with open arms should he declare, “I want to stay here and really fight for my place.” He is a very good player.

“If someone is hurt, he steps right in; he’s already started a number of our games.” However, I believe that in the future, if I were to be strict with myself, I would consider the places where he will be able to receive the most football.

Ofoborh was initially signed by Swindon Town in March on a short-term contract; however, early this summer, his tenure was extended by an additional year.

Since then, he has made 11 appearances in all competitions for the League Two team, tallying one goal.

Nevertheless, given his present club’s poor odds of getting regular playing time, they might try to send him somewhere to play football with the first team.
