In a chilling maritime mystery, the Carnival Radiance disappeared early this morning while crossing the notorious Bermuda Triangle. Departing from Miami on June 1, the ship was carrying 2,800 passengers and crew on a seven-day Caribbean voyage.
At 2:17 AM, just off the coast of Bermuda, the ship’s last known coordinates were logged before all radar and satellite contact was lost. Disturbingly, families and friends on land began receiving frantic text messages and social media posts from passengers — many describing heavy fog, strange lights in the sky, and sudden shaking on board.
“I just got a DM from my sister,” said Amy Walton, whose family member was on the cruise. “She said, ‘We’re not sure where we are — the sky is wrong.’ But then her messages stopped.”
Carnival officials confirmed the Radiance has not been located, despite immediate search and rescue operations by the U.S. Coast Guard. Experts are baffled. “We can’t explain how we lost a ship this size without a trace,” said Captain Louis Hernandez.
