Carnival Cruise Line officials have launched an internal investigation following a serious mid-sea emergency that occurred aboard one of its vessels earlier this week. The incident, which took place approximately 200 miles off the Florida coast, reportedly involved a sudden mechanical failure that left the ship temporarily adrift with over 3,000 passengers and crew onboard.
According to preliminary reports, power to the ship’s propulsion system was lost for several hours, leading to delays and significant concern among passengers. Emergency protocols were activated, and backup systems were employed to stabilize the vessel while engineers worked to restore full functionality.
