May 16, 2025 | 9:00 AM EST | Miami, Florida — Carnival Cruise Line has issued a stern warning to passengers after multiple violent brawls erupted aboard the Carnival Valor during its recent voyage to the Western Caribbean.

 

The incidents unfolded late Tuesday night as the ship sailed between Cozumel, Mexico, and Key West, Florida. Multiple altercations reportedly broke out in the main atrium and casino area, forcing ship security to intervene. At least four passengers sustained minor injuries, and video footage of the fights quickly surfaced online, sparking outrage and concern.

 

In a strongly worded statement, Carnival condemned the violent behavior: “We do not tolerate any form of disruptive conduct aboard our ships. Passengers involved in these incidents are being dealt with in accordance with our zero-tolerance policy, including removal from the vessel and permanent bans.”

 

The cruise line has ramped up onboard security and is reviewing its alcohol service protocols. Officials also encouraged guests to report any aggressive behavior immediately to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

 

The Carnival Valor docked in Miami early Friday morning, and authorities are investigating the incidents in cooperation with cruise security teams.
