TRAGIC MIDNIGHT CRUISE DISASTER: Carnival Ship Overturns – 4,000 Rescued, 2,000 Missing, while…

A devastating maritime accident struck shortly after midnight as a Carnival Cruise ship carrying more than 6,000 people capsized near the Bahamas amid turbulent seas. The sudden tilt of the vessel triggered widespread panic and a large-scale rescue operation.

Emergency teams, including the coast guard and nearby ships, have managed to save over 4,000 passengers and crew members. However, around 2,000 individuals remain unaccounted for and are presumed dead as rescue operations continue.

Survivors recounted horrifying scenes of chaos and confusion. “People were panicking, running everywhere. The ship tipped over so fast, and then there was darkness,” said one passenger.

Preliminary information points to a mix of extreme weather and potential mechanical issues as possible causes of the incident. An official investigation has begun.

While Carnival Cruise Lines has not yet issued a formal statement, the company says it is fully cooperating with authorities. Emergency units from both U.S. and Caribbean agencies are actively working to find more survivors.

This is a developing story. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
