Jose Mourinho Was a Big Fan of £20m Leicester Man Oliver Skipp, But Now He Can’t Get a Game Under Ruud van Nistelrooy

Oliver Skipp was once highly rated by Jose Mourinho, who saw him as a key talent during his time at Tottenham. The Portuguese manager even described Skipp as having the potential to become Spurs’ future captain. However, since making a £20 million move to Leicester City, things have taken a turn for the worse.

Under new Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, Skipp has struggled for game time, finding himself on the fringes of the squad. Despite his reputation as a hardworking midfielder, he has failed to cement a place in the starting XI, raising questions about his future at the club.

With the Foxes pushing for a strong campaign, it remains to be seen whether Skipp can fight his way back into contention or if he could be facing an early exit from the King Power Stadium.
