Alexander Isak and Joelinton arrive at St. James’ Park as United Newcastle United revealed their 20-man FA Cup team for their match against Brighton.

Prior to Sunday’s FA Cup fifth-round matchup against Brighton & Hove Albion (1:45 p.m. kickoff), Newcastle United players have arrived at St. James’ Park.

Although the official Newcastle team announcement is scheduled at 12:45 p.m., some significant hints regarding the players that will be included in Eddie Howe’s matchday squad have already been leaked. After missing the 2-0 loss to Liverpool because of a groin injury, Alexander Isak was among the first players to arrive. Joelinton also made a comeback after suffering a knee injury that kept him out of the previous five games.

However, Sven Botman, who had missed the previous four games due to a knee injury sustained against Arsenal last month, appeared to have no spot.

“We don’t think it is a long-term problem, but there was no risk taken on Wednesday, and there can’t be at this stage of the season,” Howe stated in a statement on Friday. “I haven’t seen him since the game.”

“We will talk with him and see how he is today; if he is healthy, he will play.” “Botman and Joelinton have a chance [to play].” Whether they train with the squad for the first time or not, I believe we’ll see how close they are, so today is definitely a huge day for them.

Knowing both players, however, they will be eager to participate as long as their injuries are manageable.

Only 20 Newcastle players can be named in the matchday squad, despite the fact that 21 players arrived at St. James’ Park on Sunday morning ahead of Brighton. In order to help Nick Pope and Martin Dubravka with the pre-game warm-ups, goalie John Ruddy is expected to be left out of the squad. Apart from Botman, Lewis Hall was nowhere to be seen at St. James’ Park before to the game, although no explanation has been offered for the young left-back’s possible absence. Based on their arrivals at St. James’ Park, this is the leaked squad list. Goalies: Martin Dubravka and Nick Pope.
