Andoh missed a significant portion of his debut season with the Minstermen due to injury after initially joining from Hereford in the summer of 2023.
Due to his lack of participation, he played in all four of City’s 2023–24 season openers before making his final appearance in a York shirt in August 2023.
Andoh missed the remainder of the season due to a spinal injury, and in order to get back to full health, the defender participated in a rehabilitation program.
Andoh would make the loan move to Darlington at the beginning of the 2024/25 season, making five appearances during a one-month spell, before returning to City.
He would then head out to Truro City to join John Askey’s National League South promotion hopefuls, where he again managed another five appearances.

The 24-year-old was confirmed to the be returning to York due to the recent passing of his father, with City allowing Andoh some time to be with his family and grieve.
Speaking on Andoh’s move to Hereford, Hinshelwood commented: “It was very sad news and we gave him, rightly so, the time that he needed to be with his family.
“I’m delighted that he can now focus, get regular game time again and get minutes under his belt. It’s a club that he knows well, so I think that’ll really help him as well.
“We wish him nothing but success between now and the end of the season.”
