At the end of last month, Pelach was fired by the Potters after just 19 games, but he has quickly returned to his position as first team coach under new West Ham manager Graham Potter.
On Thursday morning, the Premier League team officially announced Potter’s appointment, and Pelach joined his backroom staff.
“I’m happy to be here. I wanted to make sure that I was a good fit for the club I was joining and that I waited until a job that I thought was perfect for me came around. I feel that way about West Ham United,” Potter remarked.
I have had very positive and constructive conversations with the Chairman and the Board.
We have similar values of hard work and high energy to build strong foundations that can lead to success, and we agree on what is needed in the short term and how we want to move the Club forward in the medium to long term.
Located in the center of London, West Ham United is a massive club with an enormous global fan following.
I witnessed the celebrations after their 2023 Europa Conference League triumph, and it was evident that this is a team that has what it takes to succeed on and off the field on a regular basis.
You don’t win a European trophy by accident; a football club needs a solid bedrock for that to happen.
The club has made great strides in recent years and made sure there are some very solid foundations to build upon. The challenge now is to take that on and build the next steps, to create a team and a club that the supporters can be proud of.
