The Toffees are battling poorly in the Premier League and are 16th in the table, just one point above the drop zone.
Sean Dyche is under a lot of pressure, with various media outlets stating that the new owners are internally contemplating his long-term future at the club.
Everton need a few signings this month, but with the PSR threat hovering over their shoulders, they may not be able to spend substantially.
However, the Toffees have offered a loan with the condition that Akgun be purchased in January.
Okan Buruk, the technical director of Galatasaray, has made the decision to consider all offers for the Turkish international. Real Sociedad, a Spanish team, is also intrigued.
Akgun would be an excellent addition to the Toffees’ roster. In 24 appearances across all competitions this season, he has scored 11 goals and provided six assists, demonstrating his excellent play.
He would seize the chance to play in the Premier League after spending some time on loan at Leicester City in the Championship.
The 24-year-old generally plays as an attacking right midfielder and has 14 caps for his country already. He is already experienced, and his best years are ahead of him.

Everton desperately need more quality players in their forward areas. The goals have dried up for them, and there is hardly any dynamism and creativity in the final third. Everton have looked bereft of ideas in most games.
The Toffees are heavily reliant on Iliman Ndiaye to come up with sparks of brilliance, but in truth, they need more from their attacking midfielders. The likes of Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom have underperformed, and Akgun would be an upgrade.
Having said that, Everton fans will remember the last time they signed a big-name player from Turkey, Cenk Tosun, the transfer turned out to be a disaster.
