Since making his Stoke debut in 2023, the 19-year-old, who attended the Potters’ academy, has made 17 appearances.
Prior to going on loan to League Two team Walsall, where he has made a big impact in the first half of the season, Lowe scored one goal the previous season.
In 29 games in all competitions, the three-cap England under-19 international has scored 17 goals and assisted on six more for Walsall, who lead League Two by an overwhelming twelve points at the halfway stage of the season.
Naturally, there has been discussion about Lowe making an early return to the Bet 365 Stadium given Stoke’s struggles in the Championship this season, so it’s not surprising that he’s drawing interest from other teams as well.
League One promotion contenders Huddersfield Town, who are expected to sign a striker this month, have reportedly expressed interest in Lowe.
The Terriers are interested in Ryan Hardie of Plymouth Argyle, while Kion Etete of Cardiff City is also rumored to be a target, according to a second report from Football League World.
Given Lowe’s age, past performances, and potential long-term worth to Stoke, any move would most likely be a loan. It is believed, nevertheless, that Lowe turned down Michael Duff’s side in order to finish the campaign with Walsall.
That’s sure to be a blow for Huddersfield, who would benefit from additional firepower in the final third, though it’s only going to be yet another boost as far as Walsall’s title hopes are concerned.
It’s always tempting to test a loan player at a higher level when they’ve outgrown the division they’re playing in, but Stoke should let Lowe complete the season in the West Midlands with Walsall.

He’s clearly more than happy at Walsall and is playing with confidence, which has translated into rich goalscoring form.
A fresh destination halfway through the season could just knock some of his momentum and disrupt his immediate progression, which Stoke certainly would not want as he’s poised to be a part of the first-team squad next time out.
